The Clearwater Basin Youth Conservation Corps (CBYCC) is now hiring 2 youth to assist the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests’ Wilderness Trail Crew. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to earn while you learn and be part of a team working to enhance and protect our Wilderness and natural resources.

    Project Location: Crews will be based out of the Fenn Ranger Station on the Selway River.

    Compensation and Work Schedule: CBYCC Wilderness Trail Crew members are paid $10 per working hour and will receive overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 hours in a workweek (Sunday through Saturday). Wilderness Trail Crews will either work 9 days on duty and 5 days off duty or 10 days on duty and 4 days off duty, depending on which crew they are assigned to. The work week begins on the first Tuesday of each pay period. Wilderness Trail Crews typically work 80 hours over each 9 or 10-day hitch. Employment begins June 11, 2019 and ends August 6, 2019. Wilderness Trail Crew members will also receive per diem during their overnight stays.

The City of Moscow is seeking team-oriented individuals to fill two seasonal positions in the City’s Water Department (Distribution and Production).

Essential job functions in the Water Department include assisting with the installations of new water services and the maintenance of existing water mains, services, hydrants, and meters as assigned. Functions may also include painting, lawn maintenance and landscaping.

Successful candidates will have knowledge of basic construction, maintenance, and repair methods and equipment as well as basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills. Applicants must have the ability to interact respectfully with colleagues and members of the public.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license. The ability to obtain or the possession of a Class B commercial driver’s license is desirable.

Positions will work forty hours per week. Pay is $10.50 per hour without CDL and $11.50 per hour with CDL.
